I live in the Ballard area of Seattle with my fuzzy “kids”- Diza the pug, Gryphon the cat, and Simon the ferret. In addition to my work as a doula, my passions include spending time with friends and family, snowboarding, reading, cooking, roller skating, and gardening.
My services are available to all, regardless of age, marital status, ethnic background, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, or income. Every woman who wants a doula should have a doula. I serve the greater Seattle area, including Tacoma, the Eastside, Everett, and everything in between!
Philosophy:
Birth is an empowering experience- it is not a disease or illness. Women must be treated with love, respect, and be supported so they can confidently do what their bodies were designed to do. Babies deserve to enter the world in a calm, kind, and loving environment, not one full of stress and anxiety. Families should be educated and feel fully confident in the choices they make surrounding the birth of their child(ren). I am so honored to have the opportunity to assist mothers and families on their path, whatever their choices may be.
